Last December, I spent four days at the beautiful concert hall on the campus of Domaine Forget de Charlevoix recording my album, Catharsis, which will be released on the Leaf Music label on April 19th. Catharsis features music by Cris Derksen, Keiko Devaux, and Jean Coulthard. This is all wonderful music that I performed during a cross-Canada tour in the fall of 2022. I found that these pieces really resonated with my audiences. There were no recordings of them, so I decided to record them myself so that people can enjoy listening to these pieces again and again the same way I got so much pleasure from performing them at the many stops on my tour.
